When I decided to leave the corporate sector a few years ago, I had made up my mind to pursue music as a profession. A friend of mine had suggested me to join One World as a Drum Instructor and when I came here for the first time in 2012, it was just a young music school with a few students. As I started teaching here, I slowly started falling for the energy and the vibe of this place. I enjoyed working with the multi-talented colleagues and a very passionate and committed director with big plans for the place. The school with its good quality facilities, its 24-hour open door policy for practice, its various workshops/programs/incentives and an organized, flexible, progress oriented, innovative and motivational curriculum helped me immensely to grow as a musician and with its current set of enthusiastic, focused teachers and support staff, One World has become a vibrant musical hub that every aspiring musician would want to associate to.
Learning at One World College of Music changed my perception and understanding of music and life for the better. I love this place because it’s always thriving with life and laughter. The faculty is absolutely brilliant and in one year I feel like I’ve grown exponentially as not just a musician but also a human being. It feels like a happy home.
One World is not just a school, it’s also a second home for me. I have gained knowledge, and also made irreplaceable friends among the teachers and other students. My time at One World is an important and unforgettable experience.
I had fantastic time at One World College of Music. Everything was perfect: the organization of master-classes, the curiosity of students and the teacher’s love for music. I’ve seen a lot of rising talent at OWCM, and I’m sure that in a few years many of your students will be great musicians. I really hope to come back soon!
OWCM has a great pool of courses from which you can pick and mix according to your own needs. The musical experience has helped me grow both as a musician and a person. There is something to learn from every teacher there.
Occupying a unique position at One World College of Music, I am both a student and a teacher. Currently I’m teaching musicality, a general course that covers music in theory and practice, to some of the younger students at the college, and I just took a songwriting class that helped me write and produce my own music. My colleagues, who are also my teachers, are some of the most creative, wise, and warm people that I have had the privilege of knowing. The people at One World have made it an amazingly open and nurturing environment to explore all kinds of performance art in. The collaborative and supportive nature of the college make it the perfect place for creative work.
One World College of Music is a place where one feels like a part of a community. My short experience teaching there was very pleasant. One can really enjoy teaching with their system, because everybody helps each other and works for an integral an inclusive musical learning. When they hosted a concert for us, we really enjoyed the performance and the audience. OWCM is truly promoting music and arts and inspiring young generations of artists!
OWCM has been my second home since 2012. Three years on, and it still amazes me by making me realise my creative potential as a musician-in-training. The faculty here keeps us engaged in various activities which have been instrumental in developing our skills as a student of music. One World is a “bank” of happy people and the energy is infectious. Nidhi & Adhiraj have left no stone unturned to bring the best faculty, curriculum, infrastructure and creative environment for learning to OWCM. Words will not suffice to express my love and respect for One World. I hope to learn and grow with them and wish them the very best!
If you are interested to seriously learn music, be it classical or modern, western or Indian, a good education in a relaxed atmosphere is a must. One World College of Music offers both. It was always a pleasure and honor for me to offer my knowledge in teaching there, and to see a new generation of musicians – professional or amateur – growing.
One World College of Music is one of the most welcoming and delightfully creative places in NCR. The vibe is warm, yet professional. The quality of the work is impressive, and the people work in the best of ensemble spirit – assisting each other to develop, and supporting new ideas with enthusiasm. Although we were not even enrolled in any program, OWCM opened its doors and arms to us to perform, learn and collaborate with a sense of ease and joyfulness that prompts me to recommend this haven of creativity most highly. Thank you OWCM, Here’s wishing you all the very best.
I began working with OWCM when it was just starting out. It was a wonderful experience setting up the program and feeling one’s way towards a system that aims at getting students to really understand and enjoy music, rather that just learning it as a subject. Intangible though it is, music is something deeply rooted in our minds, and the enjoyment of it is one of the things that sets us apart from most other species. What I really enjoyed there, what set it apart from other schools I had taught at, is the freedom of expression that both the teachers and the students have to make music in new and innovative ways that go beyond the classroom and into creation and performance. I look forward to many future collaborations with OWCM, its teachers, and its students.
Six months at the One World College of Music have given me the opportunity to understand music in its simplest and most beautiful forms. Working with some wonderful and talented students, and developing my own methodologies of approaching teaching, and re inventing existing teaching tools has made my grasp of music stronger. Apart from all this, as a work place, One World has been such a warm and nurturing environment, for me as well as my students, and its really enabled us to all grow together!
Music brings a new and uplifting element in your life. It is a forever passion.
