Shreya Singh
Shreya Singh is a contemporary vocal coach and performer with a holistic approach to voice and performance. She holds a Master’s degree in Vocal Studies (Distinction) and a Bachelor’s degree in Popular Music Performance (Vocals) from the Institute of Contemporary Music Performance (ICMP), London, where she was recognised for academic excellence.
Shreya’s teaching focuses on building sustainable vocal practice while supporting each student’s individuality, creativity, and personal goals. She works across contemporary styles including pop, soul, pop-rock, and country, drawing on evidence-informed approaches such as MDH Breathing Coordination, Estill Voice Training, and primal sound work.
Alongside vocal technique, she integrates somatic practices including the Alexander Technique and the Franklin Method, facilitating a deeper connection between the voice and body. Her lessons also incorporate acting approaches inspired by Stanislavski, Michael Chekhov, and Laban Movement to develop the skills required for confident, embodied stage performance. This integrated voice-body-mind approach is designed to promote greater awareness across both practice and performance.
Shreya creates a safe, supportive, student-centred learning environment where curiosity and exploration are encouraged. Her work equips students with a variety of tools to develop technical skills, musicality, and creative expression.
