Limainla Imchen

Limainla Imchen is a graduate of Margaret Shishak School of Music, Patkai Christian College, Chumukedima, Nagaland, she has trained under the guidance of the renowned piano educator, Zingrin Shishak and Dr. Vivee Peseye in piano performance and church music administration.  She holds a Bachelors of Music degree with honors in Sacred Music focusing on Piano instrument. She finished her ABRSM Grade 7 in piano performance, ABRSM Grade 5 in Vocal Performance and ABRSM Grade 5 in Music theory. She has over 14 years of experience in piano teaching and teaching Music in general with students from different age groups and has keen interest in teaching. She has also worked for many soloist and choirs as an accompanist and also currently working as an accompanist of a touring choir called The Ao Naga Choir Delhi. Apart form that she was part of the MSSM Recorder Ensemble and MSSM Hand Chimes ensemble for 4 years. She has also directed and looked after the Patkai Kids Choir for a year. She has performed in many recitals with the main ones being Junior Graduate recital 2024 and Undergraduate Senior Recital 2025. She has also conducted Music Basics Workshop in Christian Mission School, Zubza, Nagaland. She also worked as the assistant for the Music Director of Kohima Ao Baptist Church, Kohima, Nagaland.
