Aashna Gupta

Aashna writes songs about the worlds we wander through, toeing the thin tightrope between daydreams and reality before diving into everything that was, is, and could never be.Her voice carries nostalgia, warmth, and urgency; reflecting love, loss, and a million other fleeting thoughts she grasps at before they vanish back into the fabric of the world. Her stories range from the joys of falling in love to the aftermath of a painful breakup, unrequited queer love, longing to change the world, and of course, the ever present theme in every adult’s life, finding yourself and knowing that you’ll be okay in the end.An award-winning Berklee artist, she draws from influences like dodie, Corinne Bailey Rae and Taylor Swift to create intimate yet cinematic worlds in sound. With a degree in Songwriting and Private Studio Teaching from Berklee College of Music, Aashna teaches voice, piano, songwriting, ukulele, production, music theory and ear training to students of all ages. Aashna loves to take a mentorship role in her classes by finding out the goals, inspirations and strengths of each student and cultivating lesson plans unique to their learning style. With 9 years of teaching experience under her belt, she has previously instructed at School of Rock Brooklyn, the Boys and Girls club in Boston, Berklee College of Music’s Summer Programs, Theme Music Gurgaon, Global Music Institute in Noida and privately at her studio.
