Deepak Garg

Deepak's first encounter with drums was in a military club in Lucknow. He has been playing the drums for 10 years since then. Being a part of various bands in and around Delhi playing rock, R&B, jazz and world music he has toured extensively across the country. He has a special affinity for jazz and afro Cuban styles. He has been a part of the blue note ensemble in Delhi alongside the saxophonist Rainer Pusch. He was one of the performers at the Madras Jazz Festival 2019 alongside The Brian Molly Collective. After studying drums with Reuben Narain in Delhi, he formalized his music training at the KM music conservatory under the mentorship of Anantha Krishnan. Apart from being a drummer he enjoys producing music.
