I was 5 years old when we shifted back to Gurgaon from Mumbai and needed to find a music school catering to my needs.
We looked for many different music schools for a year, but none appealed to us as much as One World. At first, I started by doing simple vocal lessons, beginner theory classes and piano classes, and I loved those.
They were my new hobby, and I started to get invested in music. Looking back, I had built a strong base for music, all because of the vast options I was given. After some time in One World, I decided to take music more seriously, and I appeared for my piano initial exam, in which I succeeded with great scores. Around the same period, I rejoined music theory classes, took multiple theory exams, and passed grade 3 theory! After the outbreak of COVID and the commencement of the lockdown, I had to continue my classes in online mode. In Lockdown, I started taking Indian Vocals Classes, which greatly helped me in my range and stability. I also cleared my Grade 2 piano exam in this phase.Ever since OWCM began to offer classes offline again, I started coming to this school every week on Saturdays. I have amazing teachers who have helped me improve so much. The same year, I was able to crack the Grade 4 Vocal exam and joined Ensemble classes. I started performing in recitals much more often, typically 2 at the end of each term. And recently for Christmas, I performed in the elusive quorum, after weeks of practice. And I just knew after the event was over, that it was all worth it.
