A wonderful workshop and performance was held on the 13th of June 2022 by The Anirudh Verma collective band over their journey in music making. Saptak sir, Anirudh sir and Santur sir had led this. It was great to learn from a professional group about composing music as a band and the challenges that are often faced in doing so. Moreover, their pieces were phenomenal. It had the perfect mix western and hindustani classical music. Sometimes, us as students tend to look at music in a very singular perspective. However, by attending this workshop we learned about the other things one has to keep in mind while composing. This was a superb educational experience where we got to know more about the indo-western style of music:)
